La Fromagerie: Meribel Centre. For all things cheese, local specialties: Raclette, Fondue etc. This rustic restaurant is THE place to go for Fondue & Raclette
Aux Petite Oignons: Altitude 1600 – Thoroughly recommended, lovely restaurant at Altitude 1600, great menu. reasonable prices, super cosy with open fire and small bar area
Lilie: Le Rond-Point des Pistes: Modern bar & restaurant located in this new luxury apartment complex. Great food & fab service

The Brewers Den & Smokehouse: Mussillon: Born out of a love for all things beer and BBQ. Locally sourced, slow-cooked and smoked to perfection. Eat in, take out or have it delivered to your door. Very cool and casual and some great craft beers and super cocktails
Tsaretta Spice: High end Indian Restaurant located at Altitude 1600, highly recommended
Meribel hosts a weekly Ice Hockey match during the winter season, you may be lucky enough to catch the first team in action in one of the French National League fixtures, if so, then a rowdy crowd awaits. Other local matches also take place each week. Head to the Olympic Centre for a 19h30 face off each week. Fixture days may change, check with your chalet hosts for precise details during your stay.
Based in The Olympic Centre, you will find the bowling, a 10-lane bowling alley with bar, pool tables and other video games, open until 2am daily throughout the winter season.
For all night owls, whether you are looking for a few drinks in the evening or want to party until the wee small hours, Meribel offers plenty of choice, from quiet wine bars to cocktails bars & craft beers. If you want to check out a local band or DJ you will find nightly performances in many of the local bars and clubs. O’Sullivans is one of two nightclubs, open until around 4am. Here are a few of our favourites watering holes in Meribel Centre.
The Brewers Den: For craft beer and crafty cocktails head to the Den, open daily until 1am, located in the Mussillon area of town, just below the church, for night owls, you can head downstairs into the nightclub, O’Sullivans which closes around 4am. Local DJs spinning the latest house, breaks, EDM & Dubstep well into the small hours.
Barometer: Located in Meribel Centre you will find this very civilised bar, head here for a quieter drink each evening, open until 1am
Saint Armour: Local wine bar located in the Galerie Des Cimes.
L’Abreuvoir: Funky French cocktail bar located next to the tourist office in the centre of town. Fabulous place with an extensive cocktail list.
Le Doron Pub: Late night spot for live bands and DJs – usually open until 3am
Copina: Cool cocktail & Tapas bar in Meribel Centre, try their “Garden Collins” or house Negroni, both fantastic cocktails
Jacks Bar: Located at la Chaudanne, local bands and DJs open until midnight
